THE GREAT BRITISH DUCK RACE 2009
For the second year Thames Riverworks Piling were pleased to support the Great British Duck Race at Hampton Court. Installing 2 kilometres of weighted booms provided the course for a sea of blue ducks to travel from Molesey Lock to Sheriff Boat Club at Albany Reach.. Raising thousands of pounds for many charities, 205,000 ducks were raced this year breaking the World Record recently set by Shanghai.
